Car manufacturers in India have found a way to overcome loss in middle of COVID-19 Pandemic. Mercedes-Benz has started online bookings for its vehicles. Corona Virus has forced them to do so. Initiative started by Mercedes-Benz India is named as Merc From Home.
This decision of the company will ensure social distancing as well as promote transparency. Customers can schedule delivery of vehicles at their desired location. Offers and On Road prices will be available for all customers. This platform will be functional from May 4, 2020.
One can order used as well as new cars. Customers will be able to know the different models available from the nearest dealer. This service was already functional from January 2020. Moreover customers can book online service appointment and request for home delivery. One can also get service estimate once car reaches the workshop.
After Mercedes-Benz there's a chance that more companies may start the same as most of the people will be afraid to go to showrooms or go to any crowd area.
