Mi launches 'MI Box 4K', the Amazon's Fire stick rival! Specs explained

Xiaomi India has launched 'Mi Box 4K' in India. With 'Mi Box 4K'  everyone can convert their regular TV to a Smart TV.

Raghu Reddy ( Chief Business Officer - Xiaomi India) told three easy steps on how to use ''Mi Box 4K' :

1. Connect your TV with HDMI cable provided with the box.
2. Connect box to the internet.
3. Start streaming.

Raghu said that Xiaomi believe that as Netflix and prime Video are offering lots of content on 4K there will lots of content on 4K.

What are the specifications of Mi Box 4K?

Mi Box 4K comes with HDR 10 which provides saturation for every colour. It also supports 'Dolby Audio' and 'DTS 2.0 Audio' codecs which are one of the most popular codecs and are used by most of the streaming services out there.

Mi Box 4K comes with latest 'Android TV 9.0' which comes with lots of features. Most popular of them is 'Chromecast built-in'. With the help of Chromecast you can cast directly from thousands of apps on your phone to TV. Casting can also from you tablet or laptop straightly to the TV. Its not a regular Chromecast but its Chromecast ultra built-in which will support 4K casting.

"It comes with 64 bit 2.0 Ghz Quad core processor, Mali-450 750 MHz GPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC storage which helps in giving best in class performance" said Raghu.

Mi Box 4K has lots of connectivity option which include - HDMI 2.0 port, USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.2 which will help youto connect wirelessly connect you speakers and earphones and a digital out to connect your home theatres.

After, the detailed specifications of Mi Box 4K everyone must be waiting for the price of it and Xiaomi India has priced Mi Box 4K at incredible price of Rs. 3,499, which is very right as for me. It is cheaper than any other streaming devices out there in the market. Mi Box 4K is a highly recommended product from my side.
